WAN Yang, born in 1983 in Chongqing, China, is the youngest artist represented by 82 Republic and Connoisseur Contemporary; but his art works are by no means amateurish. Since he started his artistic career, he has proven his artistic and technical prowess for an artist in his generation; in a short span of less than three years. He develops his work using bold color and precisely defined shapes
to animate his subjects. We not only feel a sense of movement and sound, but also a powerful three-dimensionality in his multi-faceted oeuvre of abstract works.
